I’m Heather– singer/songwriter, single mother of two. My kids are Rowan (above, age five) and Dairbhre (pronounced DAR-bry, also referred to as Boo Bear, age two.) We live near Johnson City in East Tennessee. I play guitar and tinker around on my banjo. (Okay, I don’t really tinker on it, more like beat the hell out of it, but that’s a technicality, isn’t it.) I’m hugely interested in old time country stuff, and all those ancient ballads that came to Appalachia from the old country. My ultimate musical goal is perfect self-expression.

Joy, I appreciate the compliments. However, I cannot bear to knit another monster in the present. I became very bored and did not find it rewarding monetarily. I’m sorry, but it’s just horrifying to think about making any more!!!!
